Challenges That Impede The Effective Delivery of In- Homecare services

The needs of older Canadians for home and community care are widely acknowledged as not being adequately met.

As the population ages, there is an increasing demand for home care services to support their health, independence, and quality of life.

Senior’s desire to grow old in their own homes and neighbourhoods rather than be residents of long-term care facilities.

I will know I am [right] when I see the following feedback from the market:

At least 2 out of 3 of my interviewees indicate that they have difficulties to access to the home health care services.

Task Selection

Requesting A Caregiver

User stories were converted into main task flow done in Figma, to illustrate how the user would interact with the product and accomplish their goals.

The main user task in this app is “Requesting A Caregiver”. Because it aligns with the primary purpose of connecting elderly patients with caregivers who can provide the necessary support and assistance in their daily living activities and healthcare needs.
